Happy Monday ya’ll! Rico and I are currently in Austin, Texas and are just heading out the door. We wouldn’t leave you hanging on the Monday post though now would we? Below is a little glimpse of the wedding we shot here on Saturday. Friends, let me tell you, it was amazing. AMAZING. We had a great team of vendors (woot woot Jesi Haack!) and one of the best couples ever (yay Kim and Robbie). And just WAIT until you see the full wedding, so good, so so good. mmmmmmm. So with that, we’re off to a good ole Texan happy hour.
oh hi. Monday eh? This weekend Rico and I had TWO weddings…yep, two. And they were two epic weddings at that, so although we’re going on very very VERY little sleep at the moment, we had a pretty amazing weekend full of great couples, rad vendors, dance parties, and good times. Just you wait friends, just you wait. And since I am really behind on emails and editing and sleep, I’ll get right to it.
Today’s wedding is pretty special to us…we LOVE LOVE LOVE Jenna and Josh. We met these two because Jenna is the sister of one of our good friends Allison (hi girl! xoxo). And I remember when I met this couple several years ago thinking to myself, “I hope we can shoot their wedding someday!” I mean, look at these two! HOOOOT stuff right? AND even better, they are two of the sweetest people I have ever met. EVER. Their black and white themed San Clemente wedding was classic and stunning and just perfect. I mean, THAT GOWN…Jenna designed it herself (I know, amazing right?)…oh AND she designed the bridesmaid dresses as well (double amazing). I could go on and on about how much I loved this wedding but I’ll leave you to the pics, they do it way more justice than my sleep deprived words. Jenna and Josh, what can I say? You really do “get” us, in so many ways and being a part of your life, a part of such a big day in your lives was just incredible. Thank you thank you thank you, for your trust in us and for partnering with us in telling your story. We cannot wait to be witness to your marriage grow for many years to come, and seeing all those beautiful children that you’re going to have (IRCU! wooooo). Enjoy!
Oh man, I’m tired today. I’ll just be honest right off the bat. Been a crazy busy season, and as fun as it is and as much as we love our job, sometimes I just want to sleep for like a week straight. We can’t complain though, we love what we do and it’s a total blessing to be exhausted doing something you love. Amen right? indeed. So today I’m making this short because there is a very impatient inbox pounding at my door (email responses coming soon, I promise!)…the pictures are WAY more exciting than what I have to say anyway, and this one is a good one too…amazing one actually, mmmmm hmmmmm.
Katie and Mike are crazy adorable. So that, combined with NYC (one of our favorite cities) and a couple of beers, made for engagement session success and a pretty damn good time. We wandered around their neighborhood, laughed, ran across busy streets, laughed, oh and laughed some more…the only bad thing is now I’m sitting here wishing I was living in NYC hanging out with these two every day. Oh, to dream. Katie and Mike, what can I say? We absolutely adore you, and we are SO SO SO excited for Nantucket next June…it’s going to be crazy epic. Until then! xoxo
