Frieeeeeends! We’ve been missing lately eh? I know! It’s been a crazy end of the season for us with TONS of catch up and editing and traveling and shooting…intense stuff. But we’re back at the blog now, phew. Just in time for the new year too. Today we are sharing an engagement session we shot for Katie and Alexander in Malibu. We had a blast with these two, walking some trails, throwing some rocks, and running around on the sand. We would be lying if we said we weren’t counting the days to their wedding next year, and it’s with the ladies over at Bash,Please so it’s going to be extra good times. Until then! xoxo

Is it just me or does today not feel like Monday? Maybe it’s because we had just had our first weekend without a wedding in 6 months, so my body is like whaaaaaaat? We did however do a full day of Fall Mini Sessions yesterday with Sitting in a Tree, which you’ll be hearing about shortly, but lets just say, amazingly rad chaotic fun day. This was our first year doing them, and we might have to make the an annual thing. Sound good? Since we took a break from weddings this weekend, we thought we’d also post something different on the blog today. We did a little editorial shoot just for fun with one of our favorite models, Rachael, last week and wanted to share what we came up with. Rach, seriously? my heart. Thank you for always being our model and for killing it yet again. Also, framing that pic of Zoes for Louie. Muah!

Yeah, I know, it’s been a while. Not because we don’t love you, just because this end of the season has hit us hard. AND we are still in the process of doing the Fall Sessions so we thought it fitting to leave those up on the blog, at the top, for ya’ll to get info. Sooooooo, here we are! Returned! And oh man have we got a good one to share with you today. Back in March we had the opportunity to shoot the lovely wedding of Dave and Sal. These two adorable Aussies decided to get married at a mountaintop lodge at North Star Ski resort in Tahoe, and I must say, it was mountain wedding heaven. I’d be lying if I didn’t say the mountains hold a piece of my soul and every time I’m in them it takes everything in me not to drop everything and just stay. The trees, the air, they are a part of me and I couldn’t have been more at home being at Sal and Dave’s wedding. You two, what can we say? You were a dream, you are a dream. We couldn’t have asked for a better day spent around friends, telling your story and feeling loved and welcome. Thank you for a lovely adventure and an amazing day! Enjoy lovers!
