Hello!  Anyone still with me? I hope so, cause I sure do want to share this sweet, intimate wedding day with you. This was a special one. Chantal and Jason are friends of ours and man are they great. Chantal is a fellow photographer and we got close years ago on a road trip to Santa Barbara to shoot a wedding together. We talked about love, work, life, and our shared love of Beyoncé. Among many other things. Chantal is sassy and kind and hard working and so talented. And she sure does adore her man. Jason is stoic, funny, also insanely talented and so kind. And man does he love my friend Chantal! These two are crazy in love and it’s so fun to witness! Their day was simple, intimate, filled with love. It was perfect!  And I was so honored that Chantal asked me to go visit them in Michigan to capture it all. I’m so happy for you guys and just adore you two! Here’s a small peek at what the day looked like.

Hi all!  Are you still with me? This poor blog of mine is so often neglected. There are so many amazing weddings and incredible couples that I want to share, and I promise I will…eventually. They just might go up a bit late. Like this amazing wedding from last year. How could I let a simple thing like time stop me from sharing all this goodness? Tyler and Kelly are magnetic. They are so kind and fun and warm. Their wedding was such a reflection of their incredible love and their free spirits. As always, we were just so beyond humbled to document this day. Not to mention, I always love any excuse to work with Ashley with Buzzworthy Events !! And lets talk about those florals from The Bloomery Co ! So good!! I’m pretty excited to finally be sharing this one with you, so I will get right to it! Enjoy!! And as always, thank you so much for sticking with me.

Hi friends! It’s been quite a while…but I’m back. Do people still blog? I think so? Maybe? I hope so, cause I’m bloggin! A lot has happened since I’ve last checked in. It’s been a crazy year for us. But the weddings have sure been gooood! Since it’s been so long and I am so excited to share this beautiful intimate wedding with you, I’m gonna go ahead and just jump right into it. This wedding is one that I will truly remember for the rest of my life. There just isn’t enough I could say to express what a beautiful, loving couple this is and the kind of love that surrounded them on this beautiful day on the cliffside. This year has thrown us some curve balls, but through it all I am reminded that this job and the people it has brought into my life, even if just for a short while are without a doubt a gift! I have been so overwhelmed with the kindness and love of our couples this year. And these two were some of the best. I met them when they arrived at their intimate ceremony, and I will always remember their love and the love of all of their family friends that radiated around them. Sekahng and Jackie, I can’t tell you enough what an honor it as for me to document your day. Thank you.

Hi hi! I’m back! I bet ya thought I’d up and left my blogging behind. Nah, not when there’s so much goodness to share! But, since we are in the middle of the craziest time of the year, I’m going to jump right into today’s post! Aly and Campbell’s wedding was amazing, just like Aly and Campbell themselves! Sweet Aly is one of the talented ladies with our fav team of designers at Sitting in a Tree. So getting to work with her as a bride this time, was pretty special! And of course all the details did not disappoint! Aside from all the prettiness of the day, getting to watch these two become husband and wise was the sweetest! Aly and Campbell are such huge supporters of one another and we just adore them! As if all that isn’t amazing enough, the icing on top of that wonderful cake was getting to work along side all our vendor friends for the day! Seriously, it was a good one! (I’m talking to you, Siren Floral Co, 10.11 makeup, Max and Molly Films, Sitting in a Tree, A Miho Experience, Hostess Haven, Dart DJ’s…..the list goes on…) Oh! Aaaaaaand Aly and Campbell’s wedding was just featured over on Green Wedding Shoes, so you should definitely head on over to see even more goodies from the day and get all the details on everyone that was involved. So I’m gonna let you go right into the pictures, cause as you can imagine, there’s a lot of eye candy.

Happy Wednesday friends. How is it that we are already almost all the way through July?  I don’t know where the time goes. We had a great Spring with some rad weddings that I can’t wait to share. But now summer is here, and I love it!! Brent and I have been enjoying the summer so far with sleeping in, morning coffee shop visits with friends, going on a couple of quick trips and re-watching old netflix favorites. And I must say, I’m loving our relaxing start into summer before we jump into an awesome fall full of LOTS of great weddings! Good stuff ahead, folks! Anyway, I digress. Today, I am taking things back a bit with this weeks post. So far back, that I actually need to wish this beautiful, fun, awesome couple a happy first anniversary! Yup, that’s right, this one was a year ago! Did I already ask where the time goes?? Cause, really?? Anyway, it’s summer and this Condor’s Nest Ranch wedding screams everything perfect about summer! So although this was a year ago, I think you’re gonna like it…

Happy Friday. It’s a perfect rainy day over here and I’m loving every second of it. And what better way to enjoy a little May grey then with a pretty wedding and a couple of babes in love? Tiffanie and Andre’s wedding was rad! For starters we got to team up with an incredible team of vendors (Our girl Rachael with Lace and Likes and Siren Floral co., rentals from Witty Rentals and Pow Wow, some epic tunes by Dart DJ, rad video by Ryan McDuff…) Put that team together with an amazing couple who have a great vision for their day and are crazy in love, (oh and that amazing dress)…and you get some serious magic. But I don’t need to go on and on,  I’ll let you see for yourself.
You can also check out Tiff and Andre’s wedding over on 100layercake.com .

Hi, hi! We’re still here! Just took some time away from blogging to shoot a bunch of amazing weddings and families and do a little traveling. Our wedding season last year was a serious whirlwind! We had the great opportunity to be a part of a lot of really incredible weddings that we are beyond excited to share with y’all (we just got back from Texas and took quite a liking to y’all)! Of course with every awesome wedding, there is an awesome couple. 2014 was a year that Brent and I really look back on with such fondness because we worked with some of the most amazing people. I say that with absolute sincerity! We felt like we just hit the jackpot in terms of working with the raddest of rad new friends!

I’m sharing an extra special wedding with you today that we hold so close to our hearts. I am actually tearing up just as I start writing the sentence about this wedding, and these ladies. FOR REAL! You know how sometimes, you meet people in your life that just make your world a better place? They make everyone around them happy, and excited about life. And they just make you want to smile, and hug more people? Well that’s Leylla and Khalisa! Brent and I met these two a couple of year ago, and instantly knew they were the kind of people we wanted in our lives. As you grow up and become an adult you get to be a little more selective about who you want to walk life with and start thinking about the kinds of friends you want around when you start a family and think about who would bring light into your world going forward. It’s something I think about a lot actually. We are lucky to have amazing families. But we have also been really fortunate in finding an incredible bunch of friends that challenge us to be better people, and that inspire us to live a happy, loving life (and that make us laugh a lot along the way!). So Brent and I were so lucky that we met these ladies and it all just clicked! We just felt so encouraged by their love and support for each other. Their wonderful sense of adventure. Their positivity. Their kindness. The way they make you feel so at home whenever you share a meal with them. We knew pretty quickly, that these ladies were the kinds of people we want our future kids to call auntie. That we want to plan camping trips with and go on family days to the park with. We just want their energy and their light in our lives always. I wish everyone could know these two! Ok, ok I know I’m ranting…I’ll  get to the wedding! When Leylla and Khalisa asked us to photograph their wedding, we were first just so honored and excited! Leylla is a seriously talented photographer herself and I was pumped she trusted us with the job! I knew that documenting their amazing love for one another was something I wanted very much to do, and I was  am so honored we were able to do that. My hope is that these photos will always serve as a memory to these wonderful friends of ours of what was one of the most amazing events we have ever been able to witness. It was a beautiful day in the desert surrounded by the most amazing friends and family that were all there to shower these two incredible ladies with love and support! Brent and I walked away from this wedding with a greater love for these two ladies, for each other and for the wonderful group of family and friends that these women have chosen to walk life with as well! Khalisa and Leylla, we love you both so much and can hardly wait to see what adventures await you.

Hi all! We’re alive! I know, I know we’ve been a bit MIA lately.  We’ve been busy shooting all sorts of rad weddings and hanging out with awesome people in love. This has been our busiest season yet, and we are having such a blast. All this fun has just left us a bit behind with our blogging….but it also means we have lots of good stuff to share with you this fall and winter! WOOHOO! I know it’s Halloween so everyone is getting their costumes ready and planning out their tricks. But before you get into your costumes, I wanted to share this awesome wedding we shot back in May. Style Me Pretty posted this one earlier in the week, but I wanted to share a full post too, cause it’s just too good not to share the whole thing! These love birds were so perfect for each other, we couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear all day as we witnessed their love and happiness. Not only were they the cutest, they also had one hell of a wedding! It was a pretty fun team, Nira with Amber events along with Heirloom LA cooking up some delicious food, flowers by the awesome Little Branch and that AMAZING dress by Trish Lee….there was no shortage of goodness at this one! Jared and Rachel, we just adore you two and were so honored to be there to tell the story of your amazing day! Happy Halloween everyone, Enjoy .

Hey this is Brent! Megan is off enjoying the sun in Ojai this weekend but we have an awesome blog with John and Elizabeth. We had the best time getting to know them at Starlite over some drinks before we headed to the cliffs. They were so much fun, we are excited for the big day at the Darlington House.

Where has the summer gone? I’m pretty sure it will be Christmas if I close my eyes for too long. I am so shocked at how quickly time is passing! We’ve been pretty crazy these last couple of months.  Lots of traveling and lots of fun with fantastic couples! And I wouldn’t have it any other way. But it does mean that I’ve not had much chance for blogging. But that’s all about to change. I’m going to get right into today’s post. Today’s wedding is a serious goodie, friends. Seriously, this couple was awesome. Not only were they crazy good looking, they were also two of the sweetest people you could hope to spend a day with. Pamela’s kindness and sweet smile was infectious and I just felt so happy being around these two all day! Oh, not to mention her dress! GAH, that dress!! Fernando and Pamela got married in Valle Guadalupe. Their ceremony was in an old church in the middle of the quaint village and then after that we headed to their reception down the road at their incredible winery, Hacienda La Lomita. Guys, the wine country here is seriously amazing! If you get a chance, definitely check it out! I fell completely in love with the valley and can’t wait till we get to go back and visit Fernando and Pamela at their winery!! Thank you both so much for being such a serious joy to meet and work with!
