Oh hi there. My weekend was pretty chill since we had the weekend off from shooting, just good times spent with friends and family that I love (although it was a marathon of editing (and Pho eating) and I’m feeling QUITE accomplished). Rico’s was more eventful since he traveled up to Yreka to see his little brother graduate from high school. HIGH SCHOOL!?? I feel like he was 12 just yesterday. CRAZY. Sooooo, here we are, Monday.

So, fellow photographers, you know those couples you shoot that you secretly want to be best friends with, live next door to, and take pictures of every freaking day so you can just spend time with them? Well, that’s Neil and Becca (yep, cat’s out the bag, I wish Brooklyn was in San Diego and I could see you two lovebirds everyday). They were married at Union Station in LA and I kinda loved it, A LOT. Not only did we get to work with one of my fave coordinators Amber Events, but this wedding was incredible. THEY HAD DANCE CAPTAINS! Need I say more? I like to think I’m a good judge of character right from the beginning and I just LOVE it when that feeling is confirmed at their wedding by hearing everyone around me talking about how great they are, how much they love them, and how they are some of the best people they know. It was SO evident the whole day just HOW MUCH these people are loved and supported and I CERTAINLY can see why. Neil and Becca, I know we just met you and only spent one day with you but I can honestly say you are two of the most genuine and fun people I have ever met, you light up the room, you really do. Thank you for choosing us to document one of the most important days in your life and thank you for being such an inspiration not only in our art but in how you love and support each other and those around you….beautiful. YOU are the reason we do this job, thank you for reminding us of that. Better be seeing you soon! xoxox

  8. #33 is pretty much the epitome of the kind of shot I look for in a wedding (although we’ve only done two so far). Ace work as always you two.

  9. These are amazing, well done! And the photo of Ryan, Neil, Justin and myself looking, as Jen says, “like a washed up boy band” is brilliant….. because it’s true!
