Yo! Monday it is DARN IT…well not THAT BAD, how about a little blog post to sweeten things up a bit eh? First off, what did you do this weekend? Relaxed I hope? We didn’t relax but that’s ok because he had QUITE the amazing wedding to shoot on Saturday…can I say Free People inspired, dream catchers, AmigoBooth, Sitting in a Tree, Austin Hendrix. DYING. But you’ll just have to wait to see that, needless to say we we had a fantastic weekend. Soooooo…to the post!

Of the many things the South has to offer (Bourbon, Pho, Trees, hospitality…ummm, bourbon) we now MUST include one of our fave couples Johnna and Wade. They found us via Ruffled so I knew right from the start this was going to be a good one. We had never been to Arkansas so we weren’t quite sure what to expect, well, what did we find? Nicest people EVER, green everywhere, great community vibe, and the BEST darn vegan Pho we’ve EVER had (who knew?). Then there was their wedding. Besides the fact that Johnna is STUNNING and Wade is quite the looker, these two are incredibly down to earth and relaxed which was so great on their wedding day. The wedding was incredibly personal with their first look happening in Johnna’s childhood treehouse, followed by the ceremony and reception on her family’s property surrounded by all the details the couple and their family created. So it may have been super hot (for us wimpy San Diegans) and we may have had to bust out the bug spray several times, but I can say with 100% certainty that I would do it all over again in a heartbeat and I now have Fort Smith, Arkansas on our list of places to visit again in the near future. Johnna and Wade, seriously, you two, we LOVE LOVE LOVE You…for reals. Thank you for appreciating our work and for flying us all the way out there to join you on such an important day in your lives! And also for making us feel so welcome and cared for (and for pulling the ticks off of me when I couldn’t do it myself…yes, I’m a wimp). We’re incredibly grateful to have you as clients and blessed to have you as friends and CANNOT wait to see you soon, come visit! SOON! Ok with that, enjoy!
